"TO: Me FROM: Me", What's Wrong with Giving Yourself an Xmas Gift?

For the last couple of years I've been giving myself an early Xmas/Christmas present for the 'good deeds' that I've done (okay well that's a lie). Now before I go on let me say that this does not involve me patting myself on the back, or having some sort of dialogue with myself.
Anyways, today Santa and his sleigh(read the UPS guy and his truck) came to drop off my To: me From: me gift
. I import and export a lot of stuff nowadays, so I wasn't surprised when I saw that it was the regular UPS guy who was delivering it.
When he came to the door, we had our usual little friendly chat while he handed me the package, but this time he said "last minute holiday shopping for a friend?", I was like "ah not exactly, this is a To: me From: me gift" he said "are you kidding me?" I said "no" then proceeded to give me a couple of looks...
.one resembled this->
, another resembled this->
, he then shook my hand and said "have a good one" I said "take care and happy holidays".
His reaction got me thinking, is my "TO: me FROM: me" concept that out of the ordinary?
